Frumuse\u021bea este o preocupare fireasc\u0103 a fiin\u021bei umane. Este imaginea cu care te prezin\u021bi \u00een lume. Dincolo de a te \u00eengriji, de igiena personal\u0103, de creativitatea \u015fi de sim\u021bul estetic al fiec\u0103ruia dintre noi, a ap\u0103rut tendin\u021ba de a exagera, de a te considera frumos dup\u0103 un tipar la mod\u0103 care adeseori nu se potrive\u015fte cu fizionomia cu care persoana a fost \u00eenzestrat\u0103. Problematica etaloanelor de frumuse\u021be este constant mediatizat\u0103. Exist\u0103 persoane recurg la diferite proceduri de \u00eenfrumuse\u021bare astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t uneori ajung s\u0103 nu se mai recunoasc\u0103 ele \u00eensele privindu-se \u00een oglind\u0103 ori s\u0103 nu mai fie recunoscute de c\u0103tre cunoscu\u021bi. Mai mult de at\u00e2t, \u00ee\u0219i pierd unicitatea \u0219i par s\u0103 semene \u00eentre ele. Abandon\u00e2nd ideea de “\u00eenf\u0103\u021bi\u0219are ideal\u0103\u201d l\u0103s\u0103m \u00een urm\u0103 ceva ce uram dar, pe care \u00eel iubeam foarte mult. Beauty is a natural concern of the human being. It is the image you present yourself in the world. Beyond the care, personal hygiene, creativity and aesthetic sense of each of us, there has been a tendency to exaggerate, to consider yourself beautiful after a fashionable pattern that often does not match the physiognomy with which the person was gifted. The issue of beauty standards is constantly covered. There are people who resort to various beauty procedures so that sometimes they end up not recognizing themselves by looking in the mirror or are no longer recognized by acquaintances. Moreover, they lose their uniqueness and seem to resemble each other. Abandoning the idea of “ideal appearance” we leave behind something we hated, but which we loved very much. However, this effort is the only way to accept ourselves, to discover our beauty and to live more peacefully with it.<\/p>\n

Certified physician practicing psychiatry at \u201cElisabeta Doamna\u201d Psychiatry Hospital, Galati, Romania. She is teaching Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences course as Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy within the \u201eDunarea de Jos\u201d University Galati. Anamaria Ciubara is a member of Psychiatric Advisory Committee for Ministry of Health, editor of the \u201eAmerican Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience\u201d and is involved in many research, educational and advocacy projects in psychiatry.<\/p>\n
