Lupus eritematos sistemic (LES) este una din cele mai comune boli autoimune, afect\u00e2nd un num\u0103r mare de pacien\u021bi de gen feminin de v\u00e2rst\u0103 fertil\u0103. Cu toate acestea, un total de 15-20% dintre cazurile de LES este diagnosticat la copii, cu v\u00e2rsta mai mica de \u00a016 ani (lupus pediatric).<\/span>
Studiile au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 popula\u021bia pediatric\u0103 prezint\u0103 o evolu\u021bie mai agresiv\u0103 a bolii. Copiii se prezint\u0103 cu forme acute \u0219i au mai frecvent afectare renal\u0103, hematologic\u0103 \u0219i a sistemului nervos central, pe c\u00e2nd afectarea pulmonar\u0103, fenomenul Raynaud \u0219i fotosensibilitatea sunt, semnificativ mai mari la popula\u021bia adult\u0103. \u00a0De asemenea, au fost descrise diferen\u021be ale profilului serologic \u0219i al autoanticorpilor. Lupusul cu debut in copil\u0103rie este caracterizat prin valori crescute ale anticorpilor anti-ADNdc si ale anticorpilor anticardiolipidici, si mai putin prin prezen\u021ba factorului reumatoid. Comparativ cu LES cu debut la adult, s-a observat o activitate mai intens\u0103 a afec\u021biunii la popula\u021bia pediatric\u0103. Aproape to\u021bi copiii necesit\u0103 tratament cu corticosteroizi \u00een evolu\u021bia bolii, \u0219i mul\u021bi sunt trata\u021bi cu terapii imunosupresoare. \u00cen ciuda lipsei comorbidit\u0103\u021bilor, rata mortalit\u0103\u021bii pacien\u021bilor cu LES este mai mare in popula\u021bia pediatric\u0103 comparativ cu cea adult\u0103. Afec\u021biunea poate avea un impact important asupra dezvolt\u0103rii psihosociale \u0219i fizice a pacien\u021bilor cu LES cu debut \u00een copil\u0103rie.<\/span>

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is one of the common autoimmune disorders affecting a large number of female patients of childbearing age. However, a total of 15-20% of systemic lupus erythematosus is diagnosed in children younger than 16years-old (childhood-onset lupus). Studies have suggested that pediatric lupus patients have a more aggressive disease course. Children present with more acute illness and have more frequent renal, hematologic and central nervous system involvement at the time of diagnosis, whereas pulmonary involvement, Raynaud phenomenon, and photosensitivity were significantly higher with adult-onset SLE. Also, differences in the serological and autoantibodies profiles of children and adults have been described. Childhood-onset SLE is described by increased anti-dsDNA and anticardiolipin antibody, less rheumatoid factor, and more disease activity than adult-onset SLE. Almost all children require corticosteroids during the course of their disease, and many are treated with immunosuppressive drugs. Despite of a general lack of co-morbid conditions, mortality rates remain higher with pediatric SLE compared to adult-SLE. Childhood-onset SLE patients may experience a serious negative impact of their psychosocial and physical development.
Pediatric and adult-onset SLE differ in multiple aspects, and it is important to recognize these differences for optimal treatment and prognosis of these patients.<\/p>\n

Un num\u0103r tot mai mare de dovezi eviden\u021biaz\u0103 importan\u021ba at\u00e2t a cantit\u0103\u021bii totale, c\u00e2t \u0219i a compozi\u021biei relative a ceramidelor \u00een func\u021bionarea normal\u0103 a barierei stratului cornos \u0219i \u00een diferite afec\u021biuni ale pielii uscate \u0219i\/sau inflamatorii (de exemplu, dermatit\u0103 atopic\u0103, acnee, psoriazis). Sc\u0103derea nivelului de ceramide este asociat\u0103 cu multe afec\u021biuni ale pielii, poten\u021bial cauzate de inhibarea sintezei lipidelor sau alterarea metabolismului lipidelor. Totodata s-au observat o serie de alte anomalii precum pH-ul crescut al pielii. Chiar \u0219i persoanele care \u00ee\u0219i apreciaz\u0103 pielea ca fiind sensibil\u0103 pot prezenta niveluri sc\u0103zute de ceramide.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is one of the common autoimmune disorders affecting a large number of female patients of childbearing age. However, a total of 15-20% of systemic lupus erythematosus is diagnosed in children younger than 16years-old (childhood-onset lupus). Studies have suggested that pediatric lupus patients have a more aggressive disease course. Children present with more acute illness and have more frequent renal, hematologic and central nervous system involvement at the time of diagnosis, whereas pulmonary involvement, Raynaud phenomenon, and photosensitivity were significantly higher with adult-onset SLE. Also, differences in the serological and autoantibodies profiles of children and adults have been described. Childhood-onset SLE is described by increased anti-dsDNA and anticardiolipin antibody, less rheumatoid factor, and more disease activity than adult-onset SLE. Almost all children require corticosteroids during the course of their disease, and many are treated with immunosuppressive drugs. Despite of a general lack of co-morbid conditions, mortality rates remain higher with pediatric SLE compared to adult-SLE. Childhood-onset SLE patients may experience a serious negative impact of their psychosocial and physical development.
Pediatric and adult-onset SLE differ in multiple aspects, and it is important to recognize these differences for optimal treatment and prognosis of these patients.<\/p>\n

Lupus eritematos sistemic (LES) este una din cele mai comune boli autoimune, afect\u00e2nd un num\u0103r mare de pacien\u021bi de gen feminin de v\u00e2rst\u0103 fertil\u0103. Cu toate acestea, un total de 15-20% dintre cazurile de LES este diagnosticat la copii, cu v\u00e2rsta mai mica de \u00a016 ani (lupus pediatric).<\/span>
Studiile au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 popula\u021bia pediatric\u0103 prezint\u0103 o evolu\u021bie mai agresiv\u0103 a bolii. Copiii se prezint\u0103 cu forme acute \u0219i au mai frecvent afectare renal\u0103, hematologic\u0103 \u0219i a sistemului nervos central, pe c\u00e2nd afectarea pulmonar\u0103, fenomenul Raynaud \u0219i fotosensibilitatea sunt, semnificativ mai mari la popula\u021bia adult\u0103. \u00a0De asemenea, au fost descrise diferen\u021be ale profilului serologic \u0219i al autoanticorpilor. Lupusul cu debut in copil\u0103rie este caracterizat prin valori crescute ale anticorpilor anti-ADNdc si ale anticorpilor anticardiolipidici, si mai putin prin prezen\u021ba factorului reumatoid. Comparativ cu LES cu debut la adult, s-a observat o activitate mai intens\u0103 a afec\u021biunii la popula\u021bia pediatric\u0103. Aproape to\u021bi copiii necesit\u0103 tratament cu corticosteroizi \u00een evolu\u021bia bolii, \u0219i mul\u021bi sunt trata\u021bi cu terapii imunosupresoare. \u00cen ciuda lipsei comorbidit\u0103\u021bilor, rata mortalit\u0103\u021bii pacien\u021bilor cu LES este mai mare in popula\u021bia pediatric\u0103 comparativ cu cea adult\u0103. Afec\u021biunea poate avea un impact important asupra dezvolt\u0103rii psihosociale \u0219i fizice a pacien\u021bilor cu LES cu debut \u00een copil\u0103rie.<\/span>

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is one of the common autoimmune disorders affecting a large number of female patients of childbearing age. However, a total of 15-20% of systemic lupus erythematosus is diagnosed in children younger than 16years-old (childhood-onset lupus). Studies have suggested that pediatric lupus patients have a more aggressive disease course. Children present with more acute illness and have more frequent renal, hematologic and central nervous system involvement at the time of diagnosis, whereas pulmonary involvement, Raynaud phenomenon, and photosensitivity were significantly higher with adult-onset SLE. Also, differences in the serological and autoantibodies profiles of children and adults have been described. Childhood-onset SLE is described by increased anti-dsDNA and anticardiolipin antibody, less rheumatoid factor, and more disease activity than adult-onset SLE. Almost all children require corticosteroids during the course of their disease, and many are treated with immunosuppressive drugs. Despite of a general lack of co-morbid conditions, mortality rates remain higher with pediatric SLE compared to adult-SLE. Childhood-onset SLE patients may experience a serious negative impact of their psychosocial and physical development.
Pediatric and adult-onset SLE differ in multiple aspects, and it is important to recognize these differences for optimal treatment and prognosis of these patients.<\/p>\n

Un num\u0103r tot mai mare de dovezi eviden\u021biaz\u0103 importan\u021ba at\u00e2t a cantit\u0103\u021bii totale, c\u00e2t \u0219i a compozi\u021biei relative a ceramidelor \u00een func\u021bionarea normal\u0103 a barierei stratului cornos \u0219i \u00een diferite afec\u021biuni ale pielii uscate \u0219i\/sau inflamatorii (de exemplu, dermatit\u0103 atopic\u0103, acnee, psoriazis). Sc\u0103derea nivelului de ceramide este asociat\u0103 cu multe afec\u021biuni ale pielii, poten\u021bial cauzate de inhibarea sintezei lipidelor sau alterarea metabolismului lipidelor. Totodata s-au observat o serie de alte anomalii precum pH-ul crescut al pielii. Chiar \u0219i persoanele care \u00ee\u0219i apreciaz\u0103 pielea ca fiind sensibil\u0103 pot prezenta niveluri sc\u0103zute de ceramide.
Date clinice recente demonstreaz\u0103 c\u0103 aplicarea local\u0103 a produselor CeraVe, prin combinarea celor 3 tipuri de ceramide identice pielii cu Tehnologia MVE, ajut\u0103 la reducerea simptomelor cutanate, at\u00e2t \u00een \u200b\u200bmonoterapie, c\u00e2t \u0219i ca terapie adjuvant\u0103.

An increasing body of evidence highlights the importance of both the total amount and relative composition of ceramides in the normal functioning of the stratum corneum barrier and in various dry and\/or inflammatory skin diseases (e.g. atopic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis). Ceramide depletion is associated with many skin disorders, potentially caused by inhibition of lipid synthesis or altered lipid metabolism and associated with other anomalies such as increased skin pH. Even individuals with self-reported sensitive skin may show decreased ceramide levels.
