Long COVID-19 sau sindromul post COVID-19 este o afec\u021biune debilitant\u0103 care implic\u0103 numeroase provoc\u0103ri in ceea ce prive\u0219te diagnosticul si tratamentul. Conform Organiza\u021biei Mondiale a S\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii sindromul post COVID-19 apare la persoanele cu antecedente de infec\u021bie cu SARS-CoV-2, de obicei la 3 luni de la debutul COVID-19, cu simptome care dureaz\u0103 cel pu\u021bin 2 luni \u0219i care nu pot fi explicate printr-un diagnostic alternativ. Au fost identificate peste 200 de semne \u0219i simptome cu un important impact asupra mai multor organe. De la \u00eenceputul pandemiei de COVID-19, numeroase studii au raportat c\u0103 SARS-CoV-2 este asociat cu manifest\u0103ri dermatologice. Mecanismele patogenice implicate \u00een apari\u021bia manifest\u0103rilor cutanate asociate long COVID-19 nu sunt pe deplin elucidate. Long COVID-19 or post COVID-19 syndrome is a debilitating condition that involves numerous challenges in terms of diagnosis and treatment. According to the World Health Organization, post COVID-19 syndrome occurs in individuals with a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection, usually 3 months after the onset of COVID-19, with symptoms lasting at least 2 months and they cannot be explained by an alternative diagnosis. Over 200 signs and symptoms with an important impact on multiple organs have been identified. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous studies have reported that SARS-CoV-2 is associated with dermatological manifestations. The pathogenic mechanisms involved in the appearance of cutaneous manifestations associated with long COVID-19 are not fully elucidated. It is assumed that prolonged inflammatory response may prevent remission of cutaneous lesions. However, psychological stress may also play a role. In the international registry of cutaneous manifestations associated with COVID-19, morbilliform eruptions, urticarial eruptions, papulo-squamous eruptions, and pernio-like lesions have been included. It has been found that urticarial and morbilliform rashes are short-lasting, whereas pernio and livedo reticularis last for more than 60 days. Additionally, up to 25% of patients with long COVID-19 report hair loss. It is important to know the cutaneous manifestations associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection because they can represent an important clue for the diagnosis of long COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Conform Organiza\u021biei Mondiale a S\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii sindromul post COVID-19 apare la persoanele cu antecedente de infec\u021bie cu SARS-CoV-2, de obicei la 3 luni de la debutul COVID-19, cu simptome care dureaz\u0103 cel pu\u021bin 2 luni \u0219i care nu pot fi explicate printr-un diagnostic alternativ. Au fost identificate peste 200 de semne \u0219i simptome cu un important impact asupra mai multor organe. De la \u00eenceputul pandemiei de COVID-19, numeroase studii au raportat c\u0103 SARS-CoV-2 este asociat cu manifest\u0103ri dermatologice. According to the World Health Organization, post COVID-19 syndrome occurs in individuals with a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection, usually 3 months after the onset of COVID-19, with symptoms lasting at least 2 months and they cannot be explained by an alternative diagnosis. Over 200 signs and symptoms with an important impact on multiple organs have been identified. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous studies have reported that SARS-CoV-2 is associated with dermatological manifestations. The pathogenic mechanisms involved in the appearance of cutaneous manifestations associated with long COVID-19 are not fully elucidated. It is assumed that prolonged inflammatory response may prevent remission of cutaneous lesions. However, psychological stress may also play a role. In the international registry of cutaneous manifestations associated with COVID-19, morbilliform eruptions, urticarial eruptions, papulo-squamous eruptions, and pernio-like lesions have been included. It has been found that urticarial and morbilliform rashes are short-lasting, whereas pernio and livedo reticularis last for more than 60 days.
