Introducere: Patologiile mucoasei genitale reprezint\u0103 adesea o provocare de diagnostic. Multe dintre manifest\u0103ri pot avea aspecte atipice, dificil de diferen\u021biat, uneori chiar confundate cu anumite varia\u021bii anatomice. \u00cen ultimii ani, dermatoscopia \u0219i-a extins aria de utilizare, facilit\u00e2nd orientarea diagnostic\u0103 \u00een marea majoritate a patologiilor dermatologice.
Material \u0219i metoda: Lucrarea de fa\u021b\u0103 are ca scop un review \u00een literatur\u0103 al aspectelor dermatoscopice \u00eent\u00e2lnite \u00een modific\u0103rile mucoasei genitale, de la varia\u021bii anatomice, la leziuni pigmentare \u0219i patologii inflamatorii adesea \u00eent\u00e2lnite \u00een practica medical\u0103. Aceste aspecte fiind exemplificate cu imagini din cazuistica proprie \u0219i a colaboratorilor.
Rezultate: Prin dermatoscopie, se eviden\u021biaz\u0103 anumite patternuri sugestive ce faciliteaz\u0103 diagnosticul difere\u021bial, iar posibilitiatea de a stoca imaginea clinic\u0103 \u0219i dermatoscopic\u0103 are o mare importan\u021b\u0103 \u00een urmarirea evolu\u021biei \u0219i a eficacit\u0103\u021bii terapeutice. Criteriile de diagnostic sunt orientative, far\u0103 a \u00eenlocui examenul histopatologic.
Concluzii: Utilizarea dermatoscopului este indispensabil\u0103 \u00een evaluarea de rutin\u0103, fiind considerat ” stetoscopul ” sau \u201c al 3-lea ochi \u201d al dermatologului.<\/p>\n

Introduction: Genital dermatoses often implies difficulties in diagnosis. Some of the clinical manifestasions are difficult to differentiate between them and some may be confused with atypical anatomic variations. In the last years, dermoscopy has extended, facilitating the diagnosis accuracy in many dermatologic pathology.
Material and method: This presentation has as purpose an review in the literature of the dermoscopic aspects in genital disorders. The topics will reveal the genital mucosa anatomic variations, pigmentary lessions, inflamatory and infectious diseases, precancerous and malignancies. Most of the images are from personal clinical cases.
Results: Dermoscopy highlights various patterns which orientates the diagnosis. The possibility of evaluating clinical and dermoscopic images, even by making classic photographies or using digital dermoscopy, has a great importance in follow up. The dermoscopic criteria are orientative and do not exclude the histopathologic examination.
Conclusions: The dermoscopy is indispensable in daily practice, being considered the \u201c stethoscope\u201d or \u201c the third eye\u201d of the dermatologist.<\/p>\n
