Introducere: Utilizarea excesiv\u0103 a tehnicilor de \u00eentinerire este prezentat\u0103 periodic publicului de c\u0103tre mass-media. Datorit\u0103 manifest\u0103rilor clinice asociate (leziuni cutanate, deform\u0103ri ale buzelor, degradarea oaselor fe\u021bei), celebrit\u0103\u021bile sunt adesea subiecte ale materialelor mass-media. De\u0219i industria de divertisment prezint\u0103 adesea aceste cazuri folosind nuan\u021be edulcorate, aceast\u0103 utilizare extins\u0103 \u0219i inutil\u0103 aduce controverse \u0219i nefericire.
Materiale \u0219i metod\u0103: Lucrarea folose\u0219te manuale oficiale pentru a g\u0103si diagnostice adecvate pentru pacien\u021bii care a\u0219teapt\u0103 prea mult de la tehnicile de \u00eentinerire. Diverse articole \u0219tiin\u021bifice din perioada 2012-2022 sunt utilizate pentru a alc\u0103tui o sintez\u0103 despre amploarea acestor fenomene \u0219i managementul pacientului. Lucrarea exprim\u0103 o paralel\u0103 cu o alte condi\u021bii psihiatrice sau psihologice ale epocii moderne, care necesit\u0103 asisten\u021b\u0103 medical\u0103 adecvat\u0103.
Rezultate: Interven\u021biile invazive neautorizate, cum ar fi injec\u021biile cosmetice sau lambourile cutanate faciale, cresc de ani de zile. Aceast\u0103 cerere ridicat\u0103 poate fi abordat\u0103 nu numai prin reducerea amplorii interven\u021biilor neautorizate, ci prin excluderea persoanelor cu afec\u021biuni psihiatrice. Al\u0103turi de tulburarea obsesiv-compulsiv\u0103 sau tulburarea de personalitate histrionic\u0103, frica de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be, un tip de fobie specific\u0103, poate fi un diagnostic candidat pentru aceste afec\u021biuni.

Introduction: The excessive use of rejuvenation techniques is periodically shown to the public by mass-media. Due the associated clinical manifestations (skin lesions, lips deformities, facial bones degradation), the celebrities are often the subjects of mass-media materials. Although the entertainment industry often presents these cases using edulcorated shades, this extensive and unnecessary use brings up controversy and unhappiness.
Materials and method: The paper uses official textbooks in order to find proper diagnoses for patients who expect too much from rejuvenation techniques. Various scientific articles dated 2012-2022 are used in order to make up a synthesis about the extent of these phenomena and the patient management. The paper expresses a parallel with another psychiatric or psychologic conditions of the modern era, which require proper medical attention.
Results: Unauthorized invasive interventions such as cosmetic injections or facial skin flaps have been increasing for years. This high demand can be tackled not only by reducing the extent of unauthorized interventions, but by excluding people with psychiatric conditions. Along with obsessive compulsive disorder or histrionic personality disorder, fear of old age, a type of specific phobia, can be a candidate for these conditions.
Conclusions: The extensive use of cosmetic techniques and plastic surgery for rejuvenation has a great impact on the supply and demand of these interventions. While unauthorized interventions have caused serious damage and must be stopped, some patients could have chosen to ignore the risks because of the fear of old age. Although it might have many pros and cons, the fear of old age is a good candidate diagnostic for the driving force behind the excessive use of rejuvenation techniques.<\/p>\n

Introducere: Utilizarea excesiv\u0103 a tehnicilor de \u00eentinerire este prezentat\u0103 periodic publicului de c\u0103tre mass-media. Datorit\u0103 manifest\u0103rilor clinice asociate (leziuni cutanate, deform\u0103ri ale buzelor, degradarea oaselor fe\u021bei), celebrit\u0103\u021bile sunt adesea subiecte ale materialelor mass-media. De\u0219i industria de divertisment prezint\u0103 adesea aceste cazuri folosind nuan\u021be edulcorate, aceast\u0103 utilizare extins\u0103 \u0219i inutil\u0103 aduce controverse \u0219i nefericire.
Materiale \u0219i metod\u0103: Lucrarea folose\u0219te manuale oficiale pentru a g\u0103si diagnostice adecvate pentru pacien\u021bii care a\u0219teapt\u0103 prea mult de la tehnicile de \u00eentinerire. Diverse articole \u0219tiin\u021bifice din perioada 2012-2022 sunt utilizate pentru a alc\u0103tui o sintez\u0103 despre amploarea acestor fenomene \u0219i managementul pacientului. Lucrarea exprim\u0103 o paralel\u0103 cu o alte condi\u021bii psihiatrice sau psihologice ale epocii moderne, care necesit\u0103 asisten\u021b\u0103 medical\u0103 adecvat\u0103.
Rezultate: Interven\u021biile invazive neautorizate, cum ar fi injec\u021biile cosmetice sau lambourile cutanate faciale, cresc de ani de zile. Aceast\u0103 cerere ridicat\u0103 poate fi abordat\u0103 nu numai prin reducerea amplorii interven\u021biilor neautorizate, ci prin excluderea persoanelor cu afec\u021biuni psihiatrice. Al\u0103turi de tulburarea obsesiv-compulsiv\u0103 sau tulburarea de personalitate histrionic\u0103, frica de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be, un tip de fobie specific\u0103, poate fi un diagnostic candidat pentru aceste afec\u021biuni.
Concluzii: Utilizarea pe scar\u0103 larg\u0103 a tehnicilor cosmetice \u0219i a chirurgiei plastice pentru \u00eentinerire are un impact mare asupra cererii \u0219i ofertei pentru aceste interven\u021bii. \u00cen timp ce interven\u021biile neautorizate au provocat daune grave \u0219i trebuie oprite, unii pacien\u021bi probabil au ales s\u0103 ignore riscurile din cauza fricii de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be. De\u0219i ar putea avea multe argumente pro \u0219i contra, teama de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be este un bun diagnostic, candidat pentru for\u021ba motrice din spatele utiliz\u0103rii extinse a tehnicilor de \u00eentinerire.<\/p>\n
Fear of old age \u2013 the driving force behind extensive use of cosmetics and plastic surgery?

Introduction: The excessive use of rejuvenation techniques is periodically shown to the public by mass-media. Due the associated clinical manifestations (skin lesions, lips deformities, facial bones degradation), the celebrities are often the subjects of mass-media materials. Although the entertainment industry often presents these cases using edulcorated shades, this extensive and unnecessary use brings up controversy and unhappiness.
Materials and method: The paper uses official textbooks in order to find proper diagnoses for patients who expect too much from rejuvenation techniques. Various scientific articles dated 2012-2022 are used in order to make up a synthesis about the extent of these phenomena and the patient management. The paper expresses a parallel with another psychiatric or psychologic conditions of the modern era, which require proper medical attention.
Results: Unauthorized invasive interventions such as cosmetic injections or facial skin flaps have been increasing for years. This high demand can be tackled not only by reducing the extent of unauthorized interventions, but by excluding people with psychiatric conditions. Along with obsessive compulsive disorder or histrionic personality disorder, fear of old age, a type of specific phobia, can be a candidate for these conditions.
Conclusions: The extensive use of cosmetic techniques and plastic surgery for rejuvenation has a great impact on the supply and demand of these interventions. While unauthorized interventions have caused serious damage and must be stopped, some patients could have chosen to ignore the risks because of the fear of old age. Although it might have many pros and cons, the fear of old age is a good candidate diagnostic for the driving force behind the excessive use of rejuvenation techniques.<\/p>\n

Introducere: Utilizarea excesiv\u0103 a tehnicilor de \u00eentinerire este prezentat\u0103 periodic publicului de c\u0103tre mass-media. Datorit\u0103 manifest\u0103rilor clinice asociate (leziuni cutanate, deform\u0103ri ale buzelor, degradarea oaselor fe\u021bei), celebrit\u0103\u021bile sunt adesea subiecte ale materialelor mass-media. De\u0219i industria de divertisment prezint\u0103 adesea aceste cazuri folosind nuan\u021be edulcorate, aceast\u0103 utilizare extins\u0103 \u0219i inutil\u0103 aduce controverse \u0219i nefericire.
Materiale \u0219i metod\u0103: Lucrarea folose\u0219te manuale oficiale pentru a g\u0103si diagnostice adecvate pentru pacien\u021bii care a\u0219teapt\u0103 prea mult de la tehnicile de \u00eentinerire. Diverse articole \u0219tiin\u021bifice din perioada 2012-2022 sunt utilizate pentru a alc\u0103tui o sintez\u0103 despre amploarea acestor fenomene \u0219i managementul pacientului. Lucrarea exprim\u0103 o paralel\u0103 cu o alte condi\u021bii psihiatrice sau psihologice ale epocii moderne, care necesit\u0103 asisten\u021b\u0103 medical\u0103 adecvat\u0103.
Rezultate: Interven\u021biile invazive neautorizate, cum ar fi injec\u021biile cosmetice sau lambourile cutanate faciale, cresc de ani de zile. Aceast\u0103 cerere ridicat\u0103 poate fi abordat\u0103 nu numai prin reducerea amplorii interven\u021biilor neautorizate, ci prin excluderea persoanelor cu afec\u021biuni psihiatrice. Al\u0103turi de tulburarea obsesiv-compulsiv\u0103 sau tulburarea de personalitate histrionic\u0103, frica de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be, un tip de fobie specific\u0103, poate fi un diagnostic candidat pentru aceste afec\u021biuni.
Concluzii: Utilizarea pe scar\u0103 larg\u0103 a tehnicilor cosmetice \u0219i a chirurgiei plastice pentru \u00eentinerire are un impact mare asupra cererii \u0219i ofertei pentru aceste interven\u021bii. \u00cen timp ce interven\u021biile neautorizate au provocat daune grave \u0219i trebuie oprite, unii pacien\u021bi probabil au ales s\u0103 ignore riscurile din cauza fricii de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be. De\u0219i ar putea avea multe argumente pro \u0219i contra, teama de b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021be este un bun diagnostic, candidat pentru for\u021ba motrice din spatele utiliz\u0103rii extinse a tehnicilor de \u00eentinerire.<\/p>\n

Keywords: rejuvenation techniques, cosmetics, specific phobias<\/p>\n Introduction: The excessive use of rejuvenation techniques is periodically shown to the public by mass-media. Due the associated clinical manifestations (skin lesions, lips deformities, facial bones degradation), the celebrities are often the subjects of mass-media materials. Although the entertainment industry often presents these cases using edulcorated shades, this extensive and unnecessary use brings up controversy and unhappiness. Materials and method: The paper uses official textbooks in order to find proper diagnoses for patients who expect too much from rejuvenation techniques. Various scientific articles dated 2012-2022 are used in order to make up a synthesis about the extent of these phenomena and the patient management. The paper expresses a parallel with another psychiatric or psychologic conditions of the modern era, which require proper medical attention.
Results: Unauthorized invasive interventions such as cosmetic injections or facial skin flaps have been increasing for years. This high demand can be tackled not only by reducing the extent of unauthorized interventions, but by excluding people with psychiatric conditions. Along with obsessive compulsive disorder or histrionic personality disorder, fear of old age, a type of specific phobia, can be a candidate for these conditions.
Conclusions: The extensive use of cosmetic techniques and plastic surgery for rejuvenation has a great impact on the supply and demand of these interventions. While unauthorized interventions have caused serious damage and must be stopped, some patients could have chosen to ignore the risks because of the fear of old age. Although it might have many pros and cons, the fear of old age is a good candidate diagnostic for the driving force behind the excessive use of rejuvenation techniques.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/p>\n
