Dermatoscopia este o metod\u0103 de examinare cutanat\u0103, necostisitoare \u0219i neinvaziv\u0103, care \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021be\u0219te acurate\u021bea diagnosticului tumorilor cutanate non-melanocitare. Este unul dintre domeniile dermatologiei care a \u00eenregistrat un progres deosebit \u00een ultimii ani, care s-a materializat \u00een definirea caracteristicilor dermatoscopice ale tumorilor cutanate, \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bind diagnosticul acestora \u0219i reducand exciziile non-necesare. Rafinarea metodei permite ast\u0103zi diferen\u021bierea carcinomului bazocelular pigmentat de melanom, a celui nepigmentat de nevi sau de hiperplazia sebacee, iar evaluarea dermatologic\u0103 a structurilor vasculare este util\u0103 \u00een diagnosticul diferen\u0163ial al tumorilor cu componen\u021ba vascular\u0103 . Acantomul cu celule clare are un aspect dermatoscopic asem\u0103n\u0103tor cu psoriazisul, dar o structura vascular\u0103 particular\u0103 . Leziunile faciale de tip keratoza actinic\u0103, sunt azi mai u\u0219or de eviden\u021biat, iar carcinoamele scuamocelulare prezint\u0103 criterii clare de diferen\u021biere de forma\u021biunile bazocelulare sau carcinoamele sebacee. Autorii v\u0103 propun un periplu util \u0219i interesant , printre imagini dermatoscopice ilustrative , uneori simple, evocatoare , alteori complexe, invit\u00e2ndu-v\u0103 s\u0103 le descoperi\u021bi indiciile , pentru diagnosticul precoce al tumorilor cutanate non-melanocitare
