The biological properties of polyphenols include antioxidant, anti-tumour and anti-inflammatory effects. There are a variety of potential mechanisms of action such as inhibition of bacterial replication enzymes, induction of apoptosis in tumour cells, stimulation of monocytes\/macrophages to produce cytokines, and iododependent myeloperoxidase stimulation of neutrophils.
\nUnderstanding the bioavailability of various classes of polyphenols is essential in understanding their therapeutic efficacy. The metabolic activity of polyphenols depends on the intrinsic activity, intestinal absorption, metabolism and elimination rate. The low bioavailability of most polyphenols has led to various combinations of polyphenols and combinations of polyphenols with vitamins and other micronutrients, which were selected to specifically target the key cellular mechanisms involved in carcinogenesis. Other promising approaches for increasing the bioavailability of polyphenolic compounds in clinical studies include the use of nanoparticles, liposomes, phospholipid complexes and structural analogues.
\nMost combinations of natural compounds target intracellular carcinogenesis regulation mechanisms. Damage to connective tissue has been shown to be a common element involved in tumour growth, invasion and metastasis. The role of this natural anti-cancer barrier is frequently overlooked in cancer therapy approaches. However, all critical metabolic stages in cancer require degradation of the base membrane and extracellular matrix components as a physical barrier that impedes growth, migration and invasion of tumour cells.
\nIn conclusion, polyphenolic compounds are an important therapeutic option in skin cancer, considering their safe use. Because of their ability to modulate multiple biological mechanisms involved in cancer initiation and progression, polyphenolic compounds have countless therapeutic effects compared to a single compound.<\/p>\n

The biological properties of polyphenols include antioxidant, anti-tumour and anti-inflammatory effects. There are a variety of potential mechanisms of action such as inhibition of bacterial replication enzymes, induction of apoptosis in tumour cells, stimulation of monocytes\/macrophages to produce cytokines, and iododependent myeloperoxidase stimulation of neutrophils.
\nUnderstanding the bioavailability of various classes of polyphenols is essential in understanding their therapeutic efficacy. The metabolic activity of polyphenols depends on the intrinsic activity, intestinal absorption, metabolism and elimination rate. The low bioavailability of most polyphenols has led to various combinations of polyphenols and combinations of polyphenols with vitamins and other micronutrients, which were selected to specifically target the key cellular mechanisms involved in carcinogenesis. Other promising approaches for increasing the bioavailability of polyphenolic compounds in clinical studies include the use of nanoparticles, liposomes, phospholipid complexes and structural analogues.
\nMost combinations of natural compounds target intracellular carcinogenesis regulation mechanisms. Damage to connective tissue has been shown to be a common element involved in tumour growth, invasion and metastasis. The role of this natural anti-cancer barrier is frequently overlooked in cancer therapy approaches. However, all critical metabolic stages in cancer require degradation of the base membrane and extracellular matrix components as a physical barrier that impedes growth, migration and invasion of tumour cells.
\nIn conclusion, polyphenolic compounds are an important therapeutic option in skin cancer, considering their safe use. Because of their ability to modulate multiple biological mechanisms involved in cancer initiation and progression, polyphenolic compounds have countless therapeutic effects compared to a single compound.<\/p>\n
